Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a new body to recruit teachers in Andhra Pradesh state for class 1 to 8. First AP TET exam is organized in 2011. APTET is the recruiting body to recruit teachers in Andhra Pradesh for class 1 to 8.

APTET Notifications:

APTET notifications can be downloaded from the official website of Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test at: aptet.cgg.gov.in for apply and appearing in the examination. APTET notification is an information bulletin for AP TET exam.

APTET Exam Pattern:

APTET exam pattern is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark. Each question has four alternative answers. There are no negative marking for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. There are two papers for APTET exam:

(1) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V

(2) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII

Note: a person can appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II) if he intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII).

There are total 150 MCQs for paper I (for Classes I to V). They have to solve the total questions in just 2 and half hours of time duration. Paper 1 of APTET subject contains Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies and Child Development and Pedagogy.

There are total 150 MC questions for paper II (for classes VI to VIII) also. Candidates get total 2 and half hours for this paper also. There are four subjects for Paper II APTET exam - Language I, Language II (English), Social Studies, Mathematics and Science, Child Development and Pedagogy.

APTET Exam Date:

APTET exam date is scheduled with the advertisement notification of Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test recruitment. APTET exam date is confirmed through advertisement notification.

A person can get Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test certificate appearing in APTET exam. APTET certificate is valid for a period of seven years from the date of issue.

APTET Admit Card:

APTET Admit card download is made available on the official website at: www.aptet.cgg.gov.in to appear in Andhra Pradesh TET exam. Applicants are asked to carry APTET Admit card during the written exam.

APTET hall ticket is made available before the written exam on the official website. They can download APTET Admit cards entering their registration number.

APTET Online Form:

Candidates are asked to fill online application form for Andhra Pradesh TET in the prescribed format in a given period. Eligible candidates are asked to go through www.aptet.cgg.gov.in to fill online application form.

Journal number received by APONLINE, payment fees and all the details in correct form have to fill in online application form.

APTET Key:

APTET Keys are made available at: www.aptet.cgg.gov.in in all languages. Final keys are made available after the correction of initial keys.

APTET Results:

APTET results are made available at www.aptet.cgg.gov.in for the written exam. TET exam result 2011 Andhra Pradesh is to be announced on September 4, 2011 for July written test. Candidates will be able to check APTET result on the official website. APTET results reveal marks and score card details of written exam. The results can be checked entering hall ticket number. APTET results are declared after written exam.

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a new recruiting body of Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education.
