Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) was established in 1920 as The Catholic Syrian Bank Ltd. Initially, the bank was concentrated only in Kerala but in the coming future it opened its wings in all over India. CSB has a strong base in rural sector. It has around 80% branches in rural and semi- urban areas.
