State Bank of Indore was an associate bank of State Bank of India under Subsidiary Banks Act 1959 from 1st January, 1960. State Bank of Indore was popularly known as Indore Bank in Malwa Region. State Bank of Indore merged into State Bank of India on 26th August, 2010.

State Bank of Indore Head Office:

Head Office of State Bank of Indore was located at State Bank of Indore Corporate Office, 5, Yeshwant Niwas Road in Indore (Madhya Pradesh).

State Bank of Indore Branches:

State Bank of Indore had total 470 branches in more than 300 cities and towns of Indian State. Business turnover of the bank crossed Rs. 50000 crore till March, 2009.

http://www.indorebank.org/ is the official website of State Bank of Indore. But it is no longer available now. It is redirected to SBI official website after the merger.

State Bank of Indore Recruitment:

Employee of State Bank of Indore is known as employee of SBI after the merger. So, there is no separate recruitment or jobs for State Bank of Indore. So, there is no discussion about IBPS for the bank.

State Bank of Indore Results:

State Bank of Indore results for recruitment or financial are not available after the merger. The entire business of the bank is acquired by SBI.

History of State Bank of Indore:

The Bank of Indore was incorporated under a special charter from Maharaja Tukoji Rao Holkar III in 1920. The bank became a subsidiary of State Bank of India under the name of State Bank of Indore from Bank of Indore Ltd. as on 1st January, 1960.

State Bank of Indore was acquired the business of Bank of Dewas (1936), first bank in Dewas district, in 1962. It had acquired Dewas Senior Bank (1941) also in 1965.

State Bank of Indore was up-graded to class 'A' category bank in 1971. Finally, it merged into SBI in 2010. Before the merger, it was an associate bank of SBI like SBBJ and State Bank of Hyderabad.
