Himachal Pradesh TET – HPSSSB HPTET – Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) for HP TET by HPSSSB

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) is an eligibility test in the State of Himachal Pradesh for the teachers. HP TET is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur (www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/). The test is conducted for the test of eligibility for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts, Non-Medical, Medical), Shastri and Language Teacher.

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Notification:

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test notification is made available through www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/ every year. Candidates can download HPTET notification to apply for Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test.

Himachal Pradesh TET Eligibility Criteria:

HPTET for Trained Graduate Teachers (Arts):

At least 50% in B.A./B.Com with 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

HP TET for Trained Graduate Teachers (Non-Medical):

At least 50% marks in B.Sc. (NM) with 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

HPSSSB HPTET for Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical):

At least 50% marks in B.Sc. (Medical) with 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

Himachal Pradesh TET for Shastri:

50% marks in Shastri from an institution/university recognized by H.P. Government

HPTET for Language Teacher:

50% marks in Hindi or its equivalent with BA Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized university

Candidates are advised to check updated details of HPTET educational qualification from the Himachal Pradesh TET notification updated every year for the test of teachers.

HPSSSB HPTET Qualifying Marks:

Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks to qualify in HPSSSB HPTET exam. However, qualifying marks doesn’t give the guarantee of employment. Candidates can improve their HPTET score attempting in other HP TET exam.

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate:

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test certificate would remain valid for appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance. There is no restriction on the number of attempts to acquire HP TET certificate.

Age Limit for HPTET:

There is no upper age limit to apply for HPTET exam.

HP TET Exam Centre:

HP TET exam in conducted by HPSSSB in all the district headquarters except district Lahaul and Spiti.

Himachal Pradesh TET Exam Pattern:

There will be 150 questions carrying one mark each in the written exam of Himachal Pradesh TET for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Shastri and Language Teacher. Candidates get total 1 hour and 30 minutes to solve the questions. There will be multiple choices of questions with four alternatives. Himachal Pradesh TET exam pattern doesn’t follow the process of negative marking.

HPTET Syllabus for TGT (Non-Medical):

3. Mathematics (30 questions)
4. Physics and Chemistry (60 questions)

HPSSSB HPTET Syllabus for TGT (Medical):

3. Botany and Zoology (60 questions)

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Syllabus for Shastri:

1. Shashtri degree course (120 questions)
2. General awareness including Himachal Pradesh, current affairs and environmental studies (30 questions)

Himachal Pradesh TET Syllabus for Language Teacher:

1. Hindi Course of graduation (120 questions)
2. General awareness including Himachal Pradesh, current affairs and environmental studies (30 questions)

Himachal Pradesh TET Exam Date:

Himachal Pradesh TET exam date is notified through the HP TET advertisement. Exam date should be checked through the advertisement of HPTET exam every year.

HPTET exam date for Shastri and Language Teacher is scheduled on 11th December, 2011. Himachal Pradesh TET TGT exams for Arts, Non-Medical and Medical are scheduled on 22nd January, 2012.

Himachal Pradesh TET Admit Card:

Himachal Pradesh TET Admit card is sent by HPSSSB to the eligible candidates to their correspondence. Details of exam centre, exam time, exam venue and other details are communicated through HPTET Admit card.

No candidates will be allowed in the written exam without HP TET Admit card. Those candidates who don’t receive their HPSSSB HPTET Admit card by post, they can download that from the official website - www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/.

Himachal Pradesh TET Admit card download is made available online before written exam. Candidates should carry Himachal Pradesh TET call letter at the exam venue along with other necessary documents.

Himachal Pradesh TET call letter download is made available to offer a duplicate hall ticket for written exam. Details of Himachal Pradesh TET hall ticket will be made available through www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/.

Eligible candidates can download Himachal Pradesh TET Admit card entering the required information. They should print out that HPTET Admit card to carry at the exam venue. Status of HP TET call letter can be checked through HPSSSB.

Details of Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Admit card download are notified through HPTET notification.

Himachal Pradesh TET Results:

Himachal Pradesh TET results are notified through the official website - www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/. Candidates will be able to check their HPTET results after written exam visiting official website.

HP TET results display the name and roll number of qualified candidates in the written exam. HPSSSB HPTET results will be known as score card of candidates.

Candidates can get their HPTET certificate after the announcement of Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test results. They can collect their certificate of Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test results through the board.
