These programs are offered in BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses through www.bitsadmission.com 2012. Eligible candidates have to face BITSAT 2012 exam to get admission in these programmes.
BITSAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have degree of 12th class or 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They should score minimum of 75% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects and at least 60% marks in each of the above mentioned subjects. However, admission in BITS Pilani 2012 will be made on the basis of merit position based on the score of BITSAT 2012.
Only appearing or passed students of 12th class examination in 2012 are eligible to appear in www.bitsadmission.com 2012.
Students with first rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2012 will get direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2012 score.
BITSAT 2012 Exam Pattern:
BITSAT 2012 is a computer based exam. The test will have objective types of 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. BITSAT 2012 exam pattern is based on the duration of 3 hours. Each correct answer will be awarded by 3 marks. Each wrong answer will be deducted by 1 mark. It will be conducted from 10th May to 9th June, 2012.
