Nationality:
Indian and NRI candidates are applicable for the admission.
Educational Qualification:
Appearing candidates in the final examination of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or intermediate can apply for VITEEE 2012 exam. Candidates should have minimum aggregate marks of 60% in PCM or PCB for general candidates.
Age Limit:
Candidates date of birth fall on or after 1st July, 1990 to apply for www.vit.ac.in VITEEE 2012.
VITEEE 2012 Exam Date:
VITEEE 2012 exam date has been scheduled on 21st April, 2012. Written exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5 PM for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
VITEEE 2012 Exam Pattern:
Questions of VITEEE 2012 exam will be divided into 4 parts - PART-I – Physics, PART-II – Chemistry, PART-III – Mathematics and PART-IV – Biology. All questions will be of objective types for www.vit.ac.in VITEEE 2012 exam. Each part will have 40 questions of maximum 40 marks. Each question will have 4 alternative answers. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers in VITEEE 2012 exam.

The admission in Vellore Institute of Technology is purely based on the marks secured in the VITEEE 2012 conducted by VIT University. There is no other process to get admission into VIT University.

Willing applicants can get VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2012 Offline Form in cash against Rs. 950 from the post office. VITEEE 2012 Admit Card:
VITEEE 2012 Admit card download will be made available only those eligible candidates who have submitted their application forms in the prescribed format before the last date. www.vit.ac.in 2012 Admit card for VITEEE will be dispatched through speed post. No Admit card will be sent by e-mail or faxed.
VITEEE 2012 call letter will not be transferable to any other person. www.vit.ac.in 2012 call letter of VITEEE will contain candidates name, registration number, photograph, signature, address, test centre, test schedule and test instructions.
No candidates will be permitted to appear in written test without VITEEE 2012 hall ticket. Candidates must present www.vit.ac.in 2012 hall ticket of VITEEE to the invigilators for verification.

VITEEE 2012 Duplicate Admit Card:
If a candidate doesn’t receive VITEEE 2012 admit card by 10th April, 2012, he/she may report to Admissions Officer. The candidate can meet VIT Representative also one day before of examination at the centre with a copy of the application form and two attested passport size photographs to get VITEEE 2012 duplicate Admit card.
VITEEE 2012 Admit card is an important document. So, candidates should preserve it to show at the time of counselling and admission.

VITEEE 2012 results will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the written exam. VITEEE 2012 rank list or merit list will be announced at: www.vit.ac.in online.
