Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) is an eligibility test in the State of Himachal Pradesh for the teachers. HP TET is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur (www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/). The test is conducted for the test of eligibility for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts, Non-Medical, Medical), Shastri and Language Teacher.

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Notification:

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test notification is made available through www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb/ every year. Candidates can download HPTET notification to apply for Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test.

Himachal Pradesh TET Eligibility Criteria:

HPTET for Trained Graduate Teachers (Arts):

At least 50% in B.A./B.Com with 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

HP TET for Trained Graduate Teachers (Non-Medical):

At least 50% marks in B.Sc. (NM) with 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

HPSSSB HPTET for Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical):

HPSSSB HPTET Qualifying Marks:

Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks to qualify in HPSSSB HPTET exam. However, qualifying marks doesn’t give the guarantee of employment. Candidates can improve their HPTET score attempting in other HP TET exam.

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate:

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test certificate would remain valid for appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance. There is no restriction on the number of attempts to acquire HP TET certificate.

Age Limit for HPTET:

There is no upper age limit to apply for HPTET exam.

HP TET Exam Centre:

HP TET exam in conducted by HPSSSB in all the district headquarters except district Lahaul and Spiti.

Himachal Pradesh TET Exam Pattern:

There will be 150 questions carrying one mark each in the written exam of Himachal Pradesh TET for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Shastri and Language Teacher. Candidates get total 1 hour and 30 minutes to solve the questions. There will be multiple choices of questions with four alternatives. Himachal Pradesh TET exam pattern doesn’t follow the process of negative marking.

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an entrance examination for admission into professional and technical courses. It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India.

A common entrance examination on all India platforms for admission to professional and technical programs in the country was introduced by Programme of Action (PoA) 1992 under the National Policy on Education (NPE) 1986.

Government of India passed a vide Resolution on 18th October 2001 for three exams - JEE and AIEEE at the National Level and the State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) for State Level Institutions – with an option to join AIEEE for admission to Engineering and Architecture/Planning programmes.

AIEEE was introduced in 2002 for admission to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score.

The 10th All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was conducted on 1st May, 2011. Total 1053807 candidates appeared in the examination out of 1114541 registered candidates. Written examination was conducted at 1685 centres located in 86 cities.

AIEEE 2012 Exam Pattern:

AIEEE 2012 exam pattern consist two papers – Paper 1 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) for B.E/B. Tech courses in offline/online mode and Paper 2 (Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing) for B. Architecture and B. Planning in offline mode. AIEEE 2012 exam pattern is based on objective types of questions to test perception, imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness of candidates.

Objective types of questions contain 4 options with single correct answer. One fourth (1/4) marks are deducted for the each wrong answer.

Exam time for paper 1 has been scheduled at 9:30 AM to 12:30 Noon and 2PM to 5 PM for Paper 2.

Exam timing has been divided into two shifts – 9AM to 12 Noon and 2 PM to 5 PM.

Language of the Question Papers:

Candidates can choose the question papers either in English or in Hindi (that will be bilingual in Hindi & English both) for offline and online examination while submitting online application form for www.aieee.nic.in 2012.

AIEEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum educational qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is 10+2 (Class XII) or equivalent. Appearing candidates in 10+2 final exam may also appear in AIEEE 2012.

Admission criteria in the concerned institution/university will be followed by concerned university/institution and as per the guidelines & criteria prescribed by AICTE.

Candidates can attempt maximum 3 times for AIEEE. 10+2 passed candidates in 2010 may appear in AIEEE 2012. 10+2 passed candidates in 2009 or before will not be allowed to appear in AIEEE 2013 or www.aieee.nic.in 2012.

Date of birth of candidates should fall on or after 1st October, 1987 to appear in AIEEE 2012. SC/ST/PWD candidates will get relaxation in age of 5 years (date of birth 1st October, 1982).

AIEEE 2012 Application Fee:

Subjects – Off-Line Examination Fee

For BE/B. Tech only or B. Arch/ B. Planning only – 800 for General/OBC and 400 for SC/ST/PWD

For Both BE/B. Tech and B. Arch/B. Planning – 1400 for General//OBC and 700 for SC/ST/PWD

Subjects – Online Examination Fee

For BE/B. Tech only or B. Arch/ B. Planning only – 500 for General/OBC and 250 for SC/ST/PWD

For Both BE/B. Tech and B. Arch/B. Planning – 1100 for General/OBC and 550 for SC/ST/PWD

How to Apply for AIEEE 2012:

Step 1:

AIEEE 2012 Online Application Form:

Fill the online application form: http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/online/ApplicationForm.aspx for AIEEE 2012. You have to fill exam related details, personal details, academic details, contact details, guardian details and educational details. You have to click over next filling the AIEEE Online Application Form 2012. You will get a registration number and will be asked to make payment for www.aieee.nic.in 2012.

Step 2:

AIEEE 2012 Exam Fee Submission:

You need to visit: http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/Online/makepayment.aspx to submit details of examination fee. You can may payment of examination fee either through demand draft or debit/credit card.

Step 3:

Take a print out of confirmation page and paste your two recent photographs and sign in the specific box. You have to send the confirmation page along with original Demand Draft (if fee paid by Demand Draft) to “The Joint Secretary (AIEEE Unit), CBSE, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi 110 092” on or before 5th January, 2012. You have to send the conformation page by registered and speed post only.

AIEEE 2012 Syllabus:

AIEEE 2012 Admit Card:

AIEEE 2012 Admit card will be dispatched by ordinary post to the eligible candidates about 4 weeks before the conduct of the examination. If a candidate doesn’t receive his/her AIEEE 2012 Admit card, he/she can contact to the board by 5th April, 2012. www.aieee.nic.in 2012 duplicate admit card will be issued by an additional fee. Candidates should retained their original admit card of AIEEE till the completion of the admission process. There is no information about AIEEE 2012 Admit card download through online.

AIEEE 2012 Results:

AIEEE 2012 results will declare separate rank lists for B.E/B. Tech. and B. Arch/ B. Planning. AIEEE 2012 Score Card will indicate All India Rank (AIR), State Rank and Category Rank. You will be able to check total marks and marks in each paper through AIEEE 2012 result. Tentative date of AIEEE 2012 result announcement is 15th June, 2012. You may proceed for counselling after the announcement of www.aieee.nic.in 2012 result.

AIEEE 2012 Counselling:

AIEEE 2012 counselling seat matrix will be announced by Central Counselling Board (CCB) constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India on the basis of the All India/State Rank.

AIEEE 2012 counseling information will be displayed at CCB website www.ccb.nic.in. Score Cards of AIEEE 2012 will be dispatched to the candidates from 21st June to 5th July, 2012 by ordinary post. www.aieee.nic.in 2012 Counselling procedure, counselling schedule and counselling centres would be displayed on the CCB official website.
