Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) invites application forms for admission in MBA programmes for the academic year 2012-13 conducting Common Entrance Test (CET).

IPU CET MBA 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

GGSIPU CET 2012 MBA Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Or

They should hold a bachelor degree in Engineering, Technology or any other with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent.

Or

Those candidates who have passed the final exam of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India can apply for IPU CET MBA 2012.

IPU CET 2012 MBA Age Limit:

Maximum age is 35 years for all other Post Graduate Programmes with entry qualification of graduation. Candidates can get relaxation upto a maximum of 5 years in exceptional cases for IPU CET 2012 MBA course.

IPU CET MBA 2012 Exam Centre:

IPU CET MBA 2012 exam centre will be located in the following cities: Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaipur, Jallandhar, Kolkata and Lucknow.

IPU CET MBA Exam Pattern 2012:

IPU CET MBA exam pattern 2012 will be based on the test of 150 objective-type of questions with 4 alternative answers. Each right answer will be awarded by 4 marks. But one mark will be deducted for the each wrong answer. IPU CET MBA exam pattern will be of 2 and half hours duration carrying 600 maximum marks. Medium of test will be English only.

IPU CET MBA 2012 Syllabus:

Subject – Percentage of Questions

English Language & Comprehension – 30%

Numerical Ability – 30%

General Awareness – 10%

Reasoning ability including data interpretation – 30%

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates are advised to fill IPU CET MBA 2012 Application Forms in the prescribed format. IPU CET MBA 2012 Application Form complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope along with Admission Brochure can be submitted by hand at the university counter or candidates can send it by registered/speed post to the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075. Last date of receiving IPU CET MBA Application Form 2012 is 20th February, 2012 at 5PM.

IPU CET MBA Online Application is yet to be updated through www.ipu.ac.in. It was announced that GGSIPU CET 2012 MBA Online Application will be updated through www.ipu.ac.in from December 15th 2012 but it is not updated yet.

IPU CET MBA 2012 Application Fee:

IPU CET MBA Application Form 2012 along with Common Entrance Test Fee is priced at Rs. 1000 and Rs. 100 as postage charges.

IPU CET MBA Admit Card:

IPU CET MBA Admit card will be dispatched to the eligible candidates by registered/speed post. No candidates will be allowed to appear in written test without GGSIPU CET Admit card.

IPU CET MBA Admit card will be featured with roll number and examination centre. Candidates must preserve the GGSIPU CET Admit card till the admission procedure.

In case of non-receipt of IPU CET MBA Admit card, candidates may download e-admit card visiting www.ipu.ac.in. You must paste a photograph on the duplicate Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University CET MBA 2012 Admit card.

IPU CET MBA Merit List 2012:

IPU CET MBA merit list 2012 will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in written and interview test. Written test will contain maximum 600 marks and personal interview will contain maximum 200 marks. The weightage of written test is 75% and the weightage of PI is 25%. Qualified candidates in written test will be called for the interview test. IPU CET MBA results 2012 will be announced on 13th March, 2012. Candidates will be able to check IPU CET MBA result 2012 for final merit list on 8th May, 2012.

IPU CET MBA Counselling 2012:

IPU CET MBA counseling 2012 procedure for the admission to the colleges and institutes will begin from 8th June, 2012. IPU CET MBA counselling 2012 details and availability of seats will be updated through www.ipu.ac.in.
