Masterchef India Season 2 winner is Shipra Khanna. She became winner of Masterchef India Season 2 competing with Salma Shazia Fatima Khan.
Star Plus celebrated grand finale of Masterchef India 2 on December 31st 2011 and 1st January, 2012. Shipra became winner of Master Chef India 2 for Masterchef India 2011 in 2012.
Shipra became first winner of MasterChef India Season 2 for the year of 2012 on Indian television. She got the title of MasterChef India 2 competing Joseph and Sazia in the grand finale episodes.
MasterChef India Season 2 winner is awarded by Rs. 1 crore. She is awarded by the coveted title of Masterchef India 2 on Star Plus. She got a trip voucher of London for 3 nights and 4 days by India Gate Basmati Rice. Shipra Khanna got a right to publish her own cookery book. She got a right to broadcast her cookery Show on Star Plus.
Journey of Masterchef India 2 winner was begun from 22nd October, 2011. Contestants were judged by Chef Ajay Chopra, Chef Kunal Kapoor and Chef Vikash Khanna. Cookery competition was begun from MastherChef India 2 top 12 contestants that were selected from Masterchef India Season 2 auditions.
We watched the performance of Shipra on 31st December, 2011 and 1st January 2012 also. She did a great job both days. The top 3 finalists – Joseph Rozario, Shipra Khanna and Salma Shazia Fatima Khan faced Khalid Challenged introduced by Akshay Kumar on 31st December, 2011. Shipra and Shazia became the winner of the task.
Finally, Shipra and Shazia became top 2 finalists of MasterChef India 2 on Star Plus. They got a task to make their signature dish on 1st January, 2012. They got 2 hours to do the job. They got 15 minutes to collect their ingredients from the Amul Palrlour.
In the end of the task, they got a company of Surjan Singh Jolly and his team to cook their recipes for 100 people. Their future was depended on public voting.
Sazia cooked “Sapno Ka Zaika” and “Winter Berrie Suprprise”. On the other hand, Shipra cooked “Bahara Nasheen” and “Noor-e-Parda”.
Once again, Akshay Kumar returned in both episode of MasterChef India Season 2 grand finale. He announced the name of the winner of MasterChef India 2.

Shipra from day one emerged as a strong contestent. Even Vijaylaxmi, Rajinder Mane,Joseph & Shazia had amazing culinary skills.
The most surprising thing is that people from non relevant backgrounds..I mean no one was a hard core food professional,but they gave us some really exotic mouth watering delights. The generosity of Shazia for sharing her prize money with Vijaylaxmi & Mane was something which happens very rare on some reality show. I liked the whole concept of this show. The three chefs are multi-talented. They are great mentors, hosts and judges. hopefully we get to see next season soon.

Well Shipra is extremely talented!! No doubt....she's my favorite to win the title "MasterChef India 2".
