WBJEE Exam Pattern 2012:
WBJEE 2012 exam pattern is based on the test of 4 papers – Mathematics of 100 marks, Physics of 50 marks, Chemistry of 50 marks and Biological Sciences of 100 marks. JEM 2012 exam will consists of MCQ types of questions with 4 alternatives. 33.33% mark would be deducted for the each wrong answer.
WBJEE 2012 Exam Date and Schedule:
WBJEE 2012 exam date has been tentatively scheduled on 15th April, 2012. JEM 2012 exam has been divided into three schedules.
9:30 AM to 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2012:
WBJEE 2012 Age Limit:
Age of candidates should be 17 years or above as on 31st December, 2012. Maximum age for Marine Engineering Course is 25 years as on 31st July, 2012 to apply for WBJEE 2012.
WBJEE 2012 Educational Qualification:
For All Courses except B. Arch., Marine Engineering and B. Pharmacy: Candidates should have a degree of HS (10+2) or its equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST) along with minimum 30% marks in English for all category to apply for JEM 2012.
For Marine Engineering Course: Candidates should have a degree of 10+2 level with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with minimum 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th standard to apply for WBJEE 2012.
For B. Pharm. Course (Other than Jadavpur University): Candidates must pass HS (10+2) or its equivalent examination with minimum of 45% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology (40% for SC/ST) along with 30% marks in English to apply for www.wbjeeb.in 2012 of JEM.
For B. Pharm. Course (For Jadavpur University): Candidates should have a degree of HS (10+2) or its equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST) along with minimum 30% marks in English to apply for WBJEE 2012 of JEM.
For Medical and Dental Courses: Candidates should have a degree of HS (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination recognized by West Bengal University of Health Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject) along with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST) and minimum 30% marks in English to apply for www.wbjeeb.in 2012.
WBJEE Application Form 2012:
WBJEE Application Kit/Application Form for JEM along with Information Brochure and posting window envelop will be made available from the different branches of United Bank of India. WBJEE 2012 Forms will be made available from 18th December 2012 to 18th January, 2012. Last date of receiving WBJEE 2012 Application Form by post is 6th January, 2012.
Candidates can collect JEM 2012 Application Form/Kit from the office of the Board at AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700091 with the late fee of Rs. 300 through a Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Boar” payable at Kolkata/Howrah from 19th to 21st January, 2012.
WBJEE 2012 Application Fee:
WBJEE 2012 of JEM E and M type Form are made available on the payment of Rs. 500 and C type Form at Rs. 600. Additional fee will be added on the form by the Board of Rs. 200. The total amount should be paid through Demand Draft in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable at Kolkata/Howrah.
WBJEE 2012 How to Apply:
The duly filled in WBJEE 2012 Application Form must be sent in the printed window envelop provided in the “Application Kit” through Speed Post only to the “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700091. The WBJEE 2012 Application Forms should be reached before 24th January, 2012.
WBJEE Admit Card:
WBJEE Admit card for JEM 2012 will be sent by the board to the applicants by speed post. Candidates will be able to know their exam centre getting their WBJEE admit card. The board will send www.wbjeeb.in admit card to the eligible candidates. Status of WBJEE 2012 application form will be displayed at the official website - www.wbjeeb.in.
Those candidates who do not receive their WBJEE admit card for JEM 2012 by post, can download that online. Candidates can download WBJEE admit card visiting www.wbjeeb.in. These candidates must carry photocopy of filled-in application form of JEM 2012, Bank slip, original admit cards of 10th/12th and original photographs during the written exam. No duplicate www.wbjeeb.in Admit card will be issued after WBJEE 2012.
WBJEE Results:
WBJEE results of JEM 2012 will be declared on 15th June, 2012. WBJEE result will be updated at www.wbjeeb.in. On the basis of www.wbjeeb.in results of JEM 2012, the board will publish the merit list.
WBJEE rank card will be made available only to the merit listed candidates after the declaration of JEM results 2012. Detailed information regarding WBJEE results, rank list and merit list will be made available through www.wbjeeb.in.
