Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination 2012 (CBEE 2012) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University on the behalf of the participating Universities for admission to the M. Sc. (Biotechnology), M. Sc. Agri./M. V. Sc. (Biotechnology) and M. Tech. (Biotechnology) Programmes.

Educational Qualification:
For M. Sc. Biotechnology: candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physics, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-years B. Sc. (Physician Assistant Course); or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with at least 55% marks to apply for Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination 2012. Passed candidates in 2010 or appearing candidates in final year examination 2012 are eligible to apply.
For M. Sc. (Agri.) Biotechnology/M. V. Sc.:
Candidates should have a degree of bachelor with at least 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognized board in the concerned subjects to apply for JNU CBEE 2012.
For M. Tech. in Biotechnology:
Candidates should have a degree in concerned subjects with minimum 60% marks or equivalent to apply for CBEE 2012.
CBEE 2012 Applying Procedure:
Eligible candidates can apply for Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination 2012 either “Online” or “Offline” in the prescribed format during the given period.
Online Application: candidates can apply online visiting: www.jnuonline.in/StudentLogin.aspx and clicking over “Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology Programmes (2012-13)”.
Offline Application: candidates can get a set of prospectus through post by sending crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 260 drawn in favour of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi. Completed applications should be submitted by Registered/Speed post to “Section Officer (Admissions), Room No. 28, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi – 110067”.
