TNTET 2012 is the short form of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2012. Government of Tamil Nadu, Teachers Recruitment Board released a notification for TN TET 2012 to test the eligibility of candidates to be teachers for classes 1 to 8 in the schools in Tamil Nadu State.
TNTET 2012 notification is released on 7th March, 2012. TN TET 2012 Application Form goes on sale from 22nd March, 2012. Last date of receiving completed TNTET 2012 Application is 4th April, 2012. Date of written exam has been scheduled on 3rd June, 2012 for both papers.
Educational Skills for TNTET 2012 Paper I for Classes I to V: Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) degree and Diploma in Teacher Education
Educational Skills for TNTET 2012 Paper II for Classes VI to VIII: Bachelor degree (BA, B. Sc., B. Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography or an equivalent degree and a Degree in Teacher Education (B. Ed.)
Each paper will have 150 MCQs. Candidates will get 1 hour and 30 minutes for each paper. Exam will be conducted at all 66 Educational Districts Headquarters. Candidates have to pay Rs. 50 in Cash for TNTET 2012 Application Form and Prospectus. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PWD) from any branch of State Bank of India by using prescribed Challan attached with the prospectus.
Candidates have to send TNTET 2012 Application Form from 22nd March to 4th April, 2012. They can obtain Application Form and prospectus from the office of the District Educational Officers paying Rs. 50 cash during the period.
