www.upsc.gov.in Civil Services 2012 Eligibility Condition:
Candidates should satisfy minimum eligibility conditions to apply for www.upsc.gov.in Civil Services 2012 Prelims. Applicants must be Indian citizen as per the rules of Government of India.
Age Limit: minimum age of applicants must be 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st August, 2012. Candidates must be born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991. Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category shall be offered as per the rules of Government of India.
UPSC Civil Services 2012 Applying Procedure:
You must visit: www.upsconline.nic.in Online Application Form to register for Prelims Examination 2012. UPSC Civil Services 2012 Online Application Form should be filled up to 8th March, 2012 till 11:59 PM. 3 more days are extended for the UPSC CSP Application Form. Eligible candidates have to register at: www.upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php in two parts. www.upsc.gov.in Civil Services 2012 Application Fee:
Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates are exempted from the application fee. All other candidates have to pay Rs. 50 only either by any branch of SBI in Cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
UPSC Civil Services 2012 Exam Pattern:
There will be two stages of examinations – Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Written Test and Interview). There will be objective types of MCQs in the written test of UPSC Civil Services 2012. Each wrong answer will be panelized by negative mark. Preliminary Examination will have two papers of MCQs for maximum 400 marks. Qualified candidates in UPSC CSP 2012 will call for Main Examination. Online Application Form for UPSC CS Main 2012 will be made available in the month of July/August, 2012. UPSC Civil Services Main 2012 Examination will be conducted in October/November 2012. Syllabus of UPSC CS 2012 is updated in the notification. Main Examination will have 9 Papers for maximum 1400 marks. There will be an interview test also for 300 marks.
