About Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank (MBGB):
Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank (MBGB) was formed by the amalgamation of four erstwhile RRBs - Bhojpur Rohtas Gramin Bank, Magadh Gramin Bank, Nalanda Gramin Bank and Patliputra Gramin Bank.
Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank got the status of Second Schedule by the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 through notification RPCD. CO. RRB. NO. 3231/ 03.05 100/2008-09 dated 22nd September, 2008. The notification was published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Sec .4) dated 15th November, 2008.
