GCET 2012 and G2CET 2012 – Apply for GCET 2012 and G2CET 2012

GCET 2012 and G2CET 2012 are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa. GCET 2012 is an Entrance Test for the admission to the First Year Professional Degree courses (Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine (Allopathic & Homeopathy) and Pharmacy in the State of Goa.

Applicants with Higher Secondary Certificate in PCM or PCB group are eligible to apply for Goa Common Entrance Test 2012 (GCET 2012). Their age should be 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year.

Candidates have to send a DD of Rs. 400 for the prospectus. They have to pay Rs. 550 as application fee. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Director of Technical Education payable at Panaji, Goa.

Goa CET 2012 Application Form will be accepted from 26th March, 2012 to 5th April, 2012. GCET 2012 will be conducted on 9th and 10th May, 2012. Expected date of GCET 2012 result is 21st May, 2012. G2CET 2012 is conducted for direct admission to the Second Year of Professional Degree Courses in Engineering and Pharmacy. G2CET 2012 Application From will be accepted from 9th April to 13th April, 2012. Exam date has been scheduled on 11th May, 2012. Expected date of G2CET 2012 result is 25th May, 2012.

Application fee and prospectus charges are same for G2CET 2012 also. Candidates with diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy are eligible to apply for Goa 2nd Year Common Entrance Test 2012.

Karnataka CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

For Medical/Dental Courses: candidates should have a degree of Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group to apply for CETK 2012.

For Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Unani/Naturopathy & Yoga Courses: candidates must have a degree of Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group to apply for CETK 2012.

For Engineering/Technology Courses: candidates with 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate can apply for Karnataka CET 2012.

For Architecture Course: candidates with 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory with 50% marks in aggregate and NATA score can apply for KCET 2012.

Karnataka CET 2012 Application:

Candidates can obtain CETK 2012 brochure cum application form by the DD of Rs. 650 drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority” payable at Bangalore and Rs. 500 for (SC/ST).

Sc. (Physician Assistant Course); or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with at least 55% marks to apply for Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination 2012. Passed candidates in 2010 or appearing candidates in final year examination 2012 are eligible to apply.

For M. Sc. (Agri.) Biotechnology/M. V. Sc.:

Candidates should have a degree of bachelor with at least 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognized board in the concerned subjects to apply for JNU CBEE 2012.

For M. Tech. in Biotechnology:

Candidates should have a degree in concerned subjects with minimum 60% marks or equivalent to apply for CBEE 2012.

CBEE 2012 Applying Procedure:

Eligible candidates can apply for Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination 2012 either “Online” or “Offline” in the prescribed format during the given period.

Online Application: candidates can apply online visiting: www.jnuonline.in/StudentLogin.aspx and clicking over “Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology Programmes (2012-13)”.
